The iconic supermodel will be honored alongside Louis Vuitton men's artistic director Kim Jones at the annual event.
Naomi Campbell will be honored by amfAR at the seventh annual Inspiration Gala in New York on June 9th alongside Louis Vuitton men's artistic director Kim Jones, reports WWD.
The iconic celebrity supermodel has always made headlines on and off the runway, but it's her humanitarianism that has earned her this latest honor.
Naomi will receive the "inspiration award" in recognition of her work against AIDS. The award was established in 2010 to celebrate men's fashion as well as raise funds for AIDS research.
Whoopi Goldberg will be the master of ceremonies and Jason Derulo will perform, while a host of other celebrities like Rihanna and Marc Jacobs–who are honorary chairs–will be in attendance.
The gala will also feature a men's fashion show with looks from faves like Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein Collection, and more.
