"I realized in addition to great tailored pieces, men also need comfortable, stylish clothes that can be worn anytime," says Strahan.
Former NFL superstar turned daytime TV superstar, Michael Strahan is teaming up with JCPenney for a second time to produce a new activewear line.
Collection by Michael Strahan, Michael's first JCPenney collaboration on menswear suits and accessories in fall 2015 was such a success that the two decided to partner again.
"I had a lot of fun creating my first line, Collection by Michael Strahan, but I realized in addition to great tailored pieces, men also need comfortable, stylish clothes that can be worn anytime," Strahan said in a press release.
The athleisure line, MSX by Michael Strahan, will include tees, polos, chinos, and jogger pants, which may not sound all that impressive, but the difference is in the details.
The former "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" co-host was very involved in the design process for the new lifestyle brand. The MSX designs feature no-chafe seams, auto-lock zippers, UV protection, and reflective strips.
No wonder Michael seems unbothered by all the recent drama surrounding the announcement of his departure from the "LIVE" morning show. He's busy building his empire.
MSX by Michael Strahan drops May 21 and will be sold in The Men's Store at JCPenney with it's own dedicated presentation. Prices range from 12.99 to 25.99.
And since Michael will have the summer off, pending an earlier "LIVE" exit than planned, don't be surprised if you see him running around town in his new pieces.
