Warning: it may not be the most pleasant.

If your eyebrows seem to be the place on your face where hair goes to die, and your mornings are dedicated to penciling in the perfect brows attempting to make them look as natural as possible, then this beauty hack may be just what you need. The good news is this at-home remedy won't cost you more than a $1. The bad news is that you may smell like onion afterwards. Our suggestion, try it home 20 minutes before you shower.

Popular beauty vlogger, Farah Dhukai posted a video using raw onion as a hair growth treatment last year that has once again gone viral. Turns out, the sulfur in raw onion can work wonders on barren brows and scalp but helping stimulate the productions of collagen.

If you can't stand the smell of raw onion, another option is soaking one whole sliced onion in rum overnight, straining it and then using  a cotton ball to absorb the mixture and apply the affected area.

Would you use raw onion to stimulate hair growth?
