Katt Williams is known for his raunchy stand-ups, but when he made some xenophobic comments about Latinos, it got him and his comedy, in mounds of trouble this past summer. Williams later apologized, saying he did not mean to be offensive.

Katt Williams and the teen he punched will face charges after all. Police in metro Atlanta revealed that each have been charged with disorderly conduct. Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook stated that the teen would be charged as an adult.

While a police report was never filed, the viral footage and witness statements led to charges.

Holbrook said,

"It's my understanding that Wash is in custody at the jail and we have made contact with Williams' attorney and it is our hopes and our understanding that he will be turning himself in."

According to Williams's attorney Drew Finding, Williams was in the area doing community service and playing soccer with the children in the neighborhood when the fight happened.

"It's a shame because from all accounts from the people we interviewed, his behavior was exemplary the whole day."

This follows a string of legal problems for Williams including arrests for assault, making terroristic threats and false imprisonment.
