After sharing a detailed list of her past struggles and accomplishments, including the upcoming release of her new album, More Issues Than Vogue, the singer ended her spiel with a political after thought, “P.S. I will be actively supporting and campaigning for Hillary Clinton throughout this term, she is a woman who you should know. A woman also counted out. I relate to her. I'm placing my energy in people and things that evoke CHANGE!” said K. Michelle.
K. Michelle stands behind Clinton and her ideologies on education. She expressed the significance of minority students getting the chance to pursue higher learning, and added that she plans to help a student finance her studies.
“I believe that every student has a right to receive a quality college education. As a graduate of FAMU, my focus is on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The legacy of these schools has to carry on, and we have to find a method that makes it easier for my people and minority's to advance. #hillary2016 I have financially committed to sending 1 student name Jasmine to college if she maintains her grades.”
