Funny guy Chris Rock is familiar to the stage and movie screens as  well as behind-the-scenes. This comedian turned director has directed 2007 romance comedy, I Think I Love My Wife and in 2014 directed feature film Top Five. Gabrielle Union, who co-starred as Rock's wife in Top Five said, “He’s a really talented director. I hadn’t worked with him in that capacity…I’ve learned a lot about his capabilities and his talent and how far-reaching it is.”

Yesterday Gabrielle Union sat down with Complex News to dish about Chris Rock and this Sunday’s Oscars.

In the interview, she discloses that the comedian has been working with Dave Chappelle to deliver a “must watch Chris Rock” performance.

“He actually went up with Dave Chappelle a couple weeks ago... If you were lucky enough to be in the room, you might have an idea of where it could be going,” she says with a laugh. “[Chris] is not one to be under anyone’s thumb, or to have to kind of function under anyone’s agenda. He is a truth seeker and a truth speaker.”
