Another day, another racist comment. On Wednesday evening, MAC Cosmetics posted on Instagram a photo of a model with full, dark lips. As a result, MAC followers immediately began posting racist comments, with a few even threating to unfollow the cosmetics brand.
MAC hasn’t addressed the situation, but has been actively removing a few of the racist comments.
Unfortunately, this incident reminds us how our features are often celebrated on other races but not own.
What are your thoughts? Should MAC make a statement or just ignore and continue to delete the rude comments?
