Fresh off the success of Netflix’s Beasts of No Nation, Idris Elba is returning to the small-small screen (read: the computer screen), only this time, he’ll be behind the scenes.

BBC reports that Green Door Pictures, Elba’s production company, has been tapped to produce a series of short films for the network’s new online platform, BBC Three.

“I’m looking forward to working with BBC Three and giving new writers and actors a chance to show what they can do,” the actor said in a statement.

Specific details about the short films haven’t yet been announced, but network execs said that the projects would feature both seasoned actors and industry newcomers and would chronicle “chance encounters between two people.” No word on a release date as of yet.
