The acclaimed play, written by "Walking Dead" actress Danai Gurira, gets some financial backing from La La.
La La Anthony is putting on her producer hat and heading to Broadway.
Deadline reports the actress and on-air personality is joining the production team of Eclipsed, a play written by Walking Dead and All Eyez on Me actress, Danai Gurira. Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o makes her Broadway debut and leads the ensemble cast.

Anthony teased her involvement on Instagram last week and later confirmed her producer role in an interview.
"I am so thrilled to be joining a production filled with such powerful, talented women," she said. “Eclipsed is a stunning new play that demands to be seen, and to make my Broadway debut as a producer with it is an honor."
In addition to financially supporting the project, Anthony is involved with the 10,000 Girls initiative aimed at helping girls aged 16-24 from the tri-state area attended a Broadway show who would otherwise not have the opportunity to do so.
Eclipsed is based on true events and tells the story of the wives of rebel officers and activists who banded together to form the Liberia Mass Action for Peace, a political action group that brought an end to Liberia's second civil war in 2003.
Previews for Eclipsed begin February 23 and it open on March 6 at the Golden Theatre on Broadway.
