Actress Grace Gibson has been tapped to portray singer Faith Evans.

Deadline reports the Black Nativity star will play the wife of slain rapper Notorious B.I.G in the upcoming Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me. The young actress is the daughter of actress Lynn Whitfield and director Brian Gibson.

Gibson will star alongside Jamal Woolard who will reprise his role as Biggie from the 2009 film Notorious.

The couple's relationship began in the early 90s when Evans became the first woman signed to Bad Boy Entertainment records and Biggie was one of the labels biggest artists. Evans and Biggie, born Christopher Wallace, were married until his death in 1997.

A date for the All Eyez on Me debut has not yet been announced.
