According to Deadline, Mowry will star as Cassie, a once homeless teenager and childhood friend to Rosewood’s younger sister. The now restauranteur is coming back in a recurring role within the drama series.

Mowry recently ended her run as show lead on the Nick at Night sitcom, Instant Mom, with Sheryl Lee Ralph.
Rosewood airs Wednesday on FOX at 8 p.m.
