In a recent interview with BET.com, Whoopi Goldberg was asked: “What are your thoughts on Viola Davis’ speech, ‘the only thing that separates women of color from anybody else is opportunity’ as it relates to your career in particular?”

Goldberg responded, “Well I’m not sure what it means. Opportunity to do what? There’s been plenty of opportunity,” she said.
