Brown said that he and his family will continue to pursue a criminal lawsuit against Gordon.
It has been two months since Bobbi Kristina Brown's untimely death, and her father, Bobby Brown, adamantly believes that Bobbi Kristina's long-time boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is responsible for the 22-year-old's death.
People reports that Bobby plans to to pursue his wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon, who filed a motion recently to have the lawsuit dismissed. His request was denied.
"I am not shocked at the withdrawal, as we must keep in mind that Gordon filed a lawsuit to remove Bobby Brown as Bobbi Kristina's guardian, only to withdraw that lawsuit in DeKalb County Probate Court once he was served with a deposition notice," Bobby's lawyers said in a statement. "He could have pressed forward with that lawsuit and told us under oath what he believed happened to Bobbi Kristina, but he chose to go in another direction."
Last weekend, a medical examiner determined the official cause of death for Bobbi Kristina, but his findings will remained sealed. The family's lawyer said that Bobby Brown supports the decision to keep the records privates and hopes that the pending lawsuit will results in criminal action against Gordon.
