ABC Thursday showrunner Shonda Rhimes is writing her first book, "Year of Yes," chronicling a challenge she took to say "yes" to unexpected invitations for one year.

“Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made,” Rhimes said. “It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing. So this is not a story I ever planned to share with anyone.” Simon and Schuster will be publishing the memoir and we can't wait to add it to our booklists.

At this point, they should just rename ABC "Shondaland."

Shonda Rhimes is on her way to taking over ABC (not that that's any surprise!).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Scandal mastermind—and our October cover star—has signed on to produce yet another series for ABC.

The untitled project is written by Zoanne Clack and follows a U.S. Army Medevac team stationed in Baghdad. The drama will center around the officers' relationships and personal lives.

Clack has been writing for Grey's Anatomy since its inception, but she says that the show is not another spin-off of the hit series.

This is the fourth (yes, fourth) Shondaland show that is in development. Rhimes is currently working on producing a comedy and two more dramas.

All hail Shonda!
