Love Is the Cure
Ramon and Kim first met in medical school in Atlanta, Georgia. “He was the smart guy who always sat in the front of the class paying attention and I was the social butterfly in the middle of the room chatting with everyone,” the bride recalls. Immediately intrigued by one another, Kim and Ramon connected and began their love story on a story on a sturdy foundation of friendship. “He became my study partner first and then soon after my friend,” she adds. “Our relationship blossomed over time into a best friendship and eventually we became the ones we could not live without.”

Romance For Two
Many brides get a surprise proposal, but in a fun twist, Ramon proposed to Kim on his big day. It was an evening filled with their favorite things: They were in New Orleans (their favorite city) celebrating his birthday and they made romantic dinner plans at Jacques-Imo’s, their favorite local eatery. “I thought I had planned a celebration evening for him, but all the while HE had a surprise in store for me,” says Kim. “While waiting on our table on that beautiful clear evening on October 24th, 2014 he got down on one knee and popped the question in front of everyone!” Clearly, Kim was ecstatic after the proposal, which she never saw coming.
