There's a reason why you always see Cookie in skin tight leopard print. "We've all decided that Cookie is an animal, so she wears a lot of prints," Taraji P. Henson revealed. "She went away for 17 years, so she needs to be a little 17 years behind the fashion. So sometimes you get too much print."

Saks Fifth Avenue has been bit by the Empire fashion bug.

The luxury retailer has just announced a partnership that will bring exclusive designs inspired by the larger-than-life fashion seen on the hit FOX show.

The collection—available in-store and online—will feature curated looks from luxury fashion brands, including jewelry by Alexis Bittar, clothing by Cushnie et Ochs, Jimmy Choo footwear and accessories from MCM. Curated Empire windows will be on display at Saks Fifth Avenue's New York and Beverly Hills flagships from September 10 through October 7.

“This unprecedented partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, Alexis Bittar, Cushnie et Ochs, Jimmy Choo and MCM celebrates EMPIRE’s mark on the fashion world,” says Jeffrey Godsick, President, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products. “The influence EMPIRE has had on so many aspects of popular culture proves it has the ingredients to become a stand-alone fashion brand.”

Season 2 of Empire roars back on September 23 at 9/8c.
