“Vicky wore a white custom jumpsuit by Charles Dieujuste and it gave me a studio 54, Donna Summer vibe, ” says celebrity makeup artist Nick Barose who created Vicky Jeudy’s look for the first ever OrangeCon in New York on Thursday. “The white color allowed me to pick any color to go with it, so we went with metallic blue to make bold statement.”
Barose wanted Jeudy’s face to be dewy and fresh, so he began by prepping it with La Mer The Lotion and then applied MAC MatchMaster liquid foundation with a dampened Beauty Blender, followed by and a light dusting of MAC Blotting Powder to set the look. To enhance her bronzed skin, he also dusted Gucci Bronzing powder around perimeter of her face, and finally to bring out the glow in her skin, he dabbed Lancome Blush Subtil creme in Coral Alize on the apples of her cheeks.
While Jeudy’s skin was sheer perfection, the biggest highlight of Jeudy’s overall look was her eyes. “The color is dramatic but the application is spontaneous and care free,” says Barose. He began by applying shimmery Estee Lauder DoubleWear Stay In Place Eyeliner in Electric Cobalt Blue along her upper and lower lash lines to create a smoky look. Once set, Barose dabbed Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liquid Liner in Amp on top eyelid and added NARS False lashes #2 and Sisley So Intense Mascara in Noir to complete the look.
Finally, he kept her lips simple by only using Dior Rouge Baume in 668 Cotillon to provide a hint of color and sheen.
