Shonda Rhimes is the Twitter clap-back queen. Most memorably, when A New York Times critic referred to her as an "angry Black woman," Shonda had this to say via Twitter:

"Final thing: (then I am gonna do some yoga): how come I am not 'an angry black woman' the many times Meredith (or Addison!) rants? @nytimes... Wait. I'm 'angry' AND a ROMANCE WRITER?!! I'm going to need to put down the internet and go dance this one out. Because ish is getting real."

Shonda Rhimes is gearing up to release her first memoir, "The Year of Yes." Yasssssss.

The book will document Rhimes' (uber-successful) 2014—a year where she challenged herself to say "yes" to every unexpected thing that came her way.

"Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made," Rhimes told Variety. "It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing. So this is not a story I ever planned to share with anyone. However, once Simon & Schuster asked me, I had no choice—what else could I say but yes?"

Shonda's journey got us thinking about what areas of our lives we need to start saying yes to more. Should we let go of all of our inhibitions and go for that uncertain dream job? Should we start saying yes to healthy relationships (and start letting go of all of the toxic ones that we have been holding on to since we were 23)? Take our poll and tell us what area of your life you need to start saying yes to.
