Newly confirmed attorney general Loretta Lynch will travel to Baltimore today to meet with Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake along with law enforcement officials, community and faith leaders and members of Congress.
Lynch will be joined by other Department of Justice officials, including Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services Director Ronald Davis and Community Relations Service Director Grande Lum.
Her trip comes one day after she unveiled a $20 million pilot program that will equip 50 law enforcement agencies across the nation with body cameras. Lynch was just sworn into office last week.
