The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, scheduled to go down tomorrow night, has people shelling out thousands of dollars for what could be the fight of the century—at least, until the rematch.
The tickets, priced at well over $1,000, sold out in 60 seconds flat, giving non-promoters a very small window to snatch them up. The Vegas fight is expected to bring $72 million for promoters, and—get ready—Floyd Mayweather is expected to earn a whopping $120 million (Manny Pacquiao will only get a modest $80 million).
And for us commoners? We’re either left paying $100 for a pay-per-view broadcast of the fight or handing over a comparable amount to attend a viewing party at a bar. What are your plans for tomorrow night? Will you be tuning in, or are you blissfully unaware (Netflix, here we come!)? Take our poll, and let us know what your plans are.
