Kanye West had to speak his mind after Beck's Grammy win last night. Do you speak out when you feel like you or a friend has been slighted?
When Kanye West has had enough, he has to let you know. Last night at the Grammys, Beck beat out Beyoncé for Album of the Year and Kanye was not having any of it. Yeezy went so far as to walk onstage as Beck got up to accept the award, but immediately turned away. Was he joking or being serious? We'll never know. Viewers immediately had flashbacks to the 2009 VMAs when Kanye took the mic from Taylor Swift to say his piece.
But that wasn't the end of it. Even though he didn't repeat his infamous grab-the-mic moment, Kanye held nothing back after the show.
"All I know is if the Grammys want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain't gonna play with them no more," he told E! News. "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé, and at this point, we're tired of it."
Kanye is always one to speak his mind. Many of us may even relate to the need to express yourself when feeling slighted. How do you react? Take our poll and let us know in the comments how you feel about Kanye's Album of the Year reaction.
