The news from Ferguson has left many of us in shock. Are we really here again? After John Crawford, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Sean Bell, and the countless men, and boys, of color who have died at the hands of the police? Will things ever change, many ask?

Demonstrators in Ferguson made their voices heard last night by protesting—and looting—through the streets of the battered St. Louis neighborhood. Around the country, supporter in cities like Oakland, New York City and Washington D.C. stood in solidarity.
