Dating wasn't really a priority for Janine until she met Lindsey and he showed her just how amazing love could be. They got engaged just seven months later. Let's celebrate their upcoming union.

Her Leading Man: Lindsey McAdory, Jr., 31, Software Project Manager
The Big Day: December 31, 2014
Wedding Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Where and how did you meet your man?
We met at a young professionals networking event.
Weirdest date you've ever been on?
Although we don’t consider this to be weird, we had a picnic in the movie theater which included chicken salad, cheese and wine. Lindsey had planned a picnic outside, but the weather did not cooperate. Quick on his feet, he decided to bring the picnic to the movie theater. He now appreciates the fact that I always carry a huge purse. (Ha!)
At what moment did you know he was "The One" for you?
Early on, Lindsey told me that he was going to take care of me and make sure that I was always happy. From that moment forward, I was very optimistic about the relationship and knew that he had the potential to be the man with whom I would spend the rest of my life.
Best gift he ever got you?
Other than my Vera Wang engagement ring (which I absolutely love!), the best gift I've received from Lindsey would be my Nike Plus GPS sports watch. I am an avid runner and always training for distance races, so I was ecstatic when he bought me the watch and heart rate strap.
How did he pop the question?
We woke up and Lindsey handed me an invitation for “Janine Appreciation Day." He then made me breakfast in bed, drove me to my hometown of Atlanta and took me on a helicopter ride over downtown. We then drove up to the beautiful, renowned Chateau Elan where we had a lunch, toured the winery and tasted various wines. After the wine tasting, Lindsey led me into the vineyard. It was definitely a fairy tale engagement. In the vineyard Lindsey handed me a storybook about our relationship. As I, "Princess Janine," read through the book, I could not contain my emotions. I cried, and when I turned to the last page of the book, there was "one more question" that Lindsey had for me. Before I could look up from the book, he was down on one knee beautifully professing his undying love for me. And of course, I said yes!
