Grammy-nominated R&B crooner Tamia has a big return to the charts planned and it begins with a new label home. The singer has signed with Def Jam Recordings and announced the spring 2015 release of her sixth studio album, reports

The new project will be a follow-up to 2012’s Beautiful Surprise, which debuted at the number six spot on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart and marked Tamia’s return to the scene after taking a six-year hiatus from the industry. The album earned the singer two Grammy nods.

In typical celeb fashion today, Tamia announced the news via Instagram by sharing a photo of the big signing with the caption: "Let me introduce you to my new family #defjam #wegotthis #newmusic"
