Another airplane is missing.

This time, Air Algerie Flight 5017, carrying 116 people, is believed to have crashed after dissaperaing over northern Mali while en route to Algiers from Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso officials say the jet asked to change course due to storm before it went missing. French Mirage warplanes are now searching the vast desert area around the northern Malian city of Gao for the aircraft, which had 51 French nationals on board.

AH5017 is the second major plane crash to occur in this month alone. Last week, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 also had a tragic fate last week, killing all of the 298 people on board. And who can forget the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that disappeared back in March after losing contact with air traffic control less than an hour after takeoff?
