Arlen Escarpeta and Yolanda Ross are set to play alongside Yaya DaCosta in the Lifetime story of Whitney Houston's life.
Lifetime has filled the roles of Bobby Brown and Robyn Crawford in their upcoming Whitney Houston biopic.
According to The Root, Arlen Escarpeta has been cast as Bobby Brown and Yolanda Ross is set to play Whitney's close friend Robyn Crawford.
Escarpeta, the 33-year-old Belizean actor who had a role in Final Destination 5 and Star Trek Into Darkness will channel Houston's long-time love. The biopic is set to center on the meeting, courtship and tumultous marraige of Houston and Brown.
Yolanda Ross was previously seen on HBO hit show, Treme. Her role as Robyn Crawford is described as "the loyal friend and confidante to Whitney who helped manage her business affairs."
The biopic will be Angela Bassett's directorial debut and is set to premiere in 2015 on Lifetime.
