The Bajan singer wore a see-through gown, but covered her hair in a crystal headscarf.
Rihanna didn’t didn’t leave much to the imagination last night at the 2014 CFDA awards; however, the Bajan singer managed to cover her hair in a crystal headscarf, giving a complete nod to Hollywood glam of the 1930's.
To accept her Fashion Icon Award, the singer wore a custom Adam Selman translucent gown that she paired with a crystal headpiece, or as her hairstylist Yusef declared on Instagram: “a crystal do-rag.”
At the ceremony, Anna Wintour celebrated Rihanna by stating “incredible style can help take a talented young woman from a small island to the world stage, and along the way spark a lot of conversation about elegance and empowerment."
Are you feeling her look? Would you wear a headscarf to the CFDA awards?
