Mariah Carey's team has spoken out regarding reports that the star would be releasing a "Beyoncé Style" album. During a Billboard interview Carey indicated that she would be taking a different approach to the release of her album because she wanted fans to hear the music as "a body of work." Jermaine Dupri directly compared the approach to Beyoncé's latest LP saying, "If you just did what Beyonce did, she just gave you 17 singles and you picked which record you like."
