TV Land has partnered up with BET and Centric to broadcast the third-season premiere of the series starring Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash. Michael Strahan will is teaming up with Nickelodeon to host and executive produce the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards. The show, modeling after the networks long-running and popular Kids’ Choice Awards, will focus on favorite athletes, teams and moments. The show is set for a July 17 premiere in Los Angeles. Romantic Comedy Jumping the Broom has received the green light for a sequel. Part two of the film, starring Paula Patton and Laz Alonso, will see two new families as they try to come together for a New York wedding. Tracey Edmonds and T.D. Jakes will return to produce the film, while Devon Franklin will oversee the project under Sony Pictures. There is no word yet on if the original cast will appear in the sequel. [CentricTV]
