The annual award show, established to celebrate the achievements of exceptional African Americans, will honor Aretha Franklin, Ice Cube, Berry Gordy, American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault and visual artist Carrie Mae Weems. - 42 star Chadwick Boseman will receive the CinemaCon Male Star of Tomorrow Award at the 2014 CinemaCon, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners.
