Social media was abuzz about how radiant Ciara looked at last night's Grammys. Here's how to fake her glow.
When a delightfully pregnant Ciara swept down the red carpet, we heard a collective awwwww from Grammy viewers everywhere. The singer looked beautiful and absolutely radiant. Call it great genes, prettifying pregnancy hormones or radiance-boosting happiness—whatever it is we wanted to score that swoonworthy beauty for ourselves. So we called upon Tia Dantzler, celebrity makeup artist, to get the inside scoop. Here's her take:
"Start with a liquid foudation to even out your skin tone. To get Ciara's look, I suggest a liquid formula over a powder or cream beacuase your skin will be left moisturized, supple, and with a dewey finish. I like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. It's a definite makeup artist staple that creates flawless-looking skin without covering too much. Use a concealer, like MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, that's one shade lighter than you skin tone under your eyes and anywhere you might want to brighten your skin (corners of the eyes, bridge of nose, brow bones). Then dust a bronzer (I suggest Dior Natural Radiance Brozing Power) on the apples of your cheeks and on top of cheekbones for a nice, beachy glow."
And for the no-makeup girl, try dabbing a little facial oil (We love Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil) on top of your cheekbones, cupid's bow, and eyelids for an au naturel radiance.
