Eve's been spotted wearing a rather flashy rock on Instagram and fans have steadily been congratulating her on the news. The rapper and her family have been spending the holidays in London with Cooper and his family. This will be Eve's first marriage and Cooper's second. • OWN has acquired television rights to the new biopic, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The film stars Idris Elba who plays the late iconic leader while Naomie Harris plays Winnie Mandela. According to the deal, OWN will debut the film sometime in 2017. "We couldn't be more honored to showcase this powerful film to the OWN viewers," said Erik Logan, president of OWN. "Nelson Mandela was Oprah's hero, and ultimately, the inspiration behind Oprah's school in South Africa. • Quvenzhané Wallis may only be 10 years old but she's set to make a mini fortune off her upcoming movie, Annie. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Wallis banked $750,000 as a base salary for doing the film. If it does well, she will earn another $750,000. She's also expected to gain five percent of all royalties and merchandising as well as 10% of sound track royalties. [TMZ]
• Beyoncé is under fire for using audio from the 1986 Challenger explosion in her song "XO." She responded to the criticism and says she never intended to offend. "My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster," she said in a statement. "The song 'XO' was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you."
