The African-American Film Festival Releasing Movement will host a twitter rally today, December 20, to raise awareness for a new "Rebel" filmmaker program.
The African-American Film Festival Releasing Movement (AFFRM) founder Ava DuVernay and various female filmmakers, from Julie Dash to Sundance 2014 newcomer Lena Waithe, will support AFFRM today by tweeting with fans and raising awareness for their new membership "Rebel" program.
