Abuse, alcoholism and the real story behind Destiny's Child will be covered in Roberson's new book.
Best known as one of the original four members of Destiny's Child, LaTavia Roberson plans to release a new tell-all book. The singer shared her plans with Sister 2 Sister and gave details on what we can expect.
"My book is basically my love letter to everybody who has wondered where I've been and what I've been going through," said Roberson.
The singer and new mom hopes that the book will put long-standing rumors about her to rest. "I've heard things about me and I've heard rumors about myself," she said. "I do not mind being someone who will open up my life to any fans that I have about where I've really been. I'd rather they get it from the horses mouth."
The book will tackle sensitive topics such as abuse, alcoholism, serving time in prison and what everybody's been waiting for: What exactly happened with Destiny's Child?
"I'll definitely talk about my experiences in Destiny's Child and everything that happened in my life thereafter. I've been through some serious things. It's a testimony," said Roberson.
The untitled autobiography is set to be release sometime this year. Roberson also has a reality TV show and new solo project in the works. In late August, Roberson and partner Don Vito welcomed their first child together.
