• Dwayne Johnson is quickly becoming one of the hottest action stars of our time. He just inked a deal with New Line to star in their upcoming flick, San Andreas. The movie centers on one rescue-helicopter pilot who flies across California to save his estranged daughter after the state suffers a mega earthquake. • Maxine Powell, the woman behind many of the talented acts of Motown has died. Powell was 98. The powerful woman was responsible for teaching many of the acts how to talk and walk—in many ways performing then modern-day media training. She most famously worked with The Supremes, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson. Motown founder Berry Gordy said Powell was tough, but "poised, professional and very thankful." [CNN]
• Jamie Foxx covers the latest issue of Men's Fitness and inside he's sharing some pearls of wisdom—including some tips on how to be successful. "You've got to step out and take a chance," said Foxx.
