• Actress Regina King is heading back to network television! According to the Hollywood Reporter, King will reprise her role on CBS' The Big Bang Theory in its upcoming seventh season. King plays the university's director of human resources and plays an important part in all of the main characters' love lives. • Spike Lee's upcoming film, Oldboy, has been pushed back. It's was originally scheduled to hit theaters on October 25th, it will now be released on November 27th. No explanation for the date change was given. The action-packed film is a remake of the South Korean thriller of the same name, which was released in 2003. The film follows a man who was kidnapped and imprisoned for 20 years and upon his release, he vows to find his captors. Oldboy stars Josh Brolin, Samuel L. Jackson and more. [Slash Film]
• Oprah Winfrey will appear on an upcoming episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on August 15. Winfrey will be promoting her upcoming film, The Butler. Just days prior, Winfrey will make a guest appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. The latter will be her second appearance in eight years. [US Magazine]
• Shonda Rhimes is Hollywood's "it" girl! Rhimes has signed on to write the screenplay for the upcoming film War Correspondents. Rhimes' longtime business partner Betsy Beers will executive produce the film with Mark Gordon. "Shonda's unparalleled story sense—especially when it comes to stories about women forging their way in traditionally male professions—made this project irresistible," said Hannah Minghella, president of Columbia Pictures.
