The actress candidly reveals why she waited and how she felt afterwards.
We're learning more about the sweet Sister Sister star, Tamera Mowry-Housley now that she's become an opinionated co-host on The Real. Recently the actress revealed in a candid interview with HOT97NY that she lost her virginity at 29, "I'm religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity," the actress admitted. "You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married."
The marriage 35-year-old Mowry-Housley speaks of is to FOX news correspondent Adam Housley. The two wed back in 2011 and recently welcomed their first baby boy, Aden John Tanner Houseley.
But don't think this good girl doesn't get bad, especially in the confines of her bedroom. The actress was quick to point out a funny moment on the The Real, "they had the sex therapist there, and guess who knew everything?"
