Last week, the couple welcomed their fourth child, a boy, to the world.
New York Knicks superstar Amar'e Stoudemire and wife Alexis Welch have chosen a name for their new bundle of joy.
The couple decided on Alijah Carsares Stoudemire, a rep confirmed to People. Stoudemire shared his joy with the world last Wednesday via Twitter saying, "We are proud to announce we added a healthy baby boy to the Stoudemire team. Alexis and the baby are doing great. #Blessed"
Today new details were released about the joyful occasion. On Tuesday, Welch gave birth to little Alijah, who weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz. and measured 19 1/2 inches long. The parents have three other children, Ar'e, 7, Amar'e Jr., 6, and Assata, 5.
The couple jumped the broom on 12-12-12 in a private rooftop ceremony in New York City. Twelve people were invited to the intimate affair and the couple's three kids participated. An insider shares that the proud parents plan to have a bigger wedding with all of Stoudemire's teammates this summer.
