Gospel rising star and Sunday Best runner-up Alexis Spight is on her way to the top of the charts. In March, the 19 year old released her debut album L.O.L. (Live Out Loud).
ESSENCE.com caught up with Spight who performed the single “Live Right Now” and explained how she feels when she takes the stage. “I get nervous,” said the Buffalo, New York native. “So, I immediately go into prayer mode. I pray that God will decrease me—eliminate Alexis and sing through me so ultimately lives can be changed.”
