The characters on Real Husbands of Hollywood have no problem spending their wives' cash. Is being the breadwinner okay with you?
Tonight, BET will air the season finale of Kevin Hart’s Real Husbands of Hollywood, the hit “scripted-reality show” starring Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, Robin Thicke, J.B. Smoove and Nick Cannon. The A-list fellas, with the exception of Hart, who’s divorced in real life and on the show, really brought the funny this winter, helping to make the show a huge success. What we’ve loved most about season one, is how the men effortlessly poke fun at their real-life marriages to powerful women who, in most cases, earn more than they do. When Kodjoe and Martin tease each other about blowing their wives’ cash and Cannon proudly pulls out a blank check from wife Mariah Carey, we laugh out loud. But, in real life, for many wives, being the breadwinner is no laughing matter.
