Dy-no-mite!

The famed ’70s hit sitcom Good Times, about a working-class Chicago family, the Evans, is soon coming to a movie theater near you.

According to Deadline, Sony Pictures and producer Scott Ruddin are currently working to adapt the show, that ran on CBS from 1974-1979, for the big screen. They’ve tapped Wreck-It Ralph and Cedar Rapids writer Phil Johnston to pen the film.

The yet-to-be titled film will be set in the ’60s. However, there are no details on the storyline yet or which, if any, of the original cast members will make cameos in the film.

Who would you like to see cast to play J.J., Thelma, Michael, Florida, James and Willona?
