The black and white clip covers gun violence, poverty and more.
Miguel's new video, "Candles in the Sun," is the second single off of his sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Dream.
The nearly five-minute black and white clip juxtaposes images of Hurricane Sandy damage, guns, poverty, religion and more paired to Miguel's emotional lyrics. "White colored boy crime, money gets spent/ just candles in the sun, blown in the wind/ sun goes down/ heroes often get shot," sings Miguel.
