This morning, former South African President Nelson Mandela was discharged from the hospital.
The Nobel Peace Prize recipient was admitted on March 27 received treatment for pneumonia and a recurring lung infection.
CNN reports that the African National Congress has released a statement saying, “Let us continue to keep President Mandela and his family in our prayers as he continues to receive treatment from home.”
Mandela, who is 94-years-old, has not been seen in public since he hosted the World Cup in 2010.
