It’s been two years since R&B singer Chrisette Michele released an official album. Fortunately for her fans, the wait is over, and the songstress has a mixtape loaded with new music on the way. Yesterday, Michele released the video for her new single, “Charades,” off her upcoming project, Audrey Hepburn: The Mixtape.
It’s a stunning black-and-white “audiovisual,” as Michele calls it, inspired by the glamour and beauty of old Hollywood. It was also directed by famed photographer Derek Blanks (who frequently shoots for ESSENCE magazine, including the December cover).
Audrey Hepburn: The Mixtape will be available for download on December 8. Do you love Michele’s new vibe and artistic direction?
