Stevie Wonder released the song “Happy Birthday” in 1981 in support of making Dr. King’s birthday a national holiday.

“I just never understood, how a man who died for good/could not have a day that would be set aside for his recognition,” sings Wonder.

Legendary singer and songwriter Stevie Wonder is using his musical genius to support the re-election of President Barack Obama.

Wonder released a new track, "Keep Moving Forward," as a call to action urging citizens to vote.  A video for the song opens with a personal message from Wonder himself stating, "It's your right. Get out and vote. Let's 'Keep Moving Forward.'"
