• Rihanna teased her seventh album via Twitter yesterday, sending fans to a new website where a “coming soon” note was posted. Her brand new single, “Diamonds,” is set to premiere this Wednesday. During this weekend’s iHeartRadio Festival Rihanna told a reporter that her new single was a “happy and hippy record.” Adding, “It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically.” [Twitter][NME]
• Russell Simmons and Questlove are having a friendly fundraising competition. The two are competing to see who can raise the most money for President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign. As of right now, Questlove is winning by an undisclosed amount of money. [Grio]
• Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell Martin are being sued by City National Bank for a whopping $430K. The bank alleges the couple has failed to pay them back after they took out a home equity loan in 2008. The Martins are fighting back threatening legal action against the bank saying they were discriminated against. Furthermore, the Martins claims they shouldn’t have to pay a penny back. [TMZ]
• Are Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper back together? The on-again off-again couple was spotted leaving a movie in Hollywood over the weekend. They were reportedly seen being very affectionate to one another. Saldana’s been in the headlines recently as there are rising protests about her playing Nina Simone in an upcoming biopic. [People]
