The singer will reportedly star, produce and direct a new documentary based on her life.
Beyoncé may soon be adding one more title to her already expansive resume: documentary filmmaker.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the singer's camp is shopping a nonfiction film about her life and career to Hollywood studios. The documentary is reported to include music and personal study, concert footage and confessional interviews. To top it off, Beyonce reportedly plans to star, produce and direct the film, though there are no reports of the film's release date yet.
About 20 minutes of the film's footage has already been shown to distributors. Continuing on her newfound love for posting personal notes on her tumblr page (she's recently written notes to Michelle Obama and Frank Ocean), the new mom wrote a congratulatory note for Olympian Gabby Douglas.
"A huge congratulations to 16-year-old Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas," she wrote. "Thank you for inspiring all of us! Love, B."
