Kile Glover, the stepson of Usher Raymond, is set to be buried in Atlanta on Friday.
Funeral services for Kile Glover (R), the 11-year-old stepson of Usher Raymond, will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, it will be held at Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, and television executive Ryan Glover, was left in critical condition after a jet ski accident on July 6. He and a teenage friend were riding on an inner tube pulled behind a pontoon boat when the incident occurred. The man operating the jet ski, 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, is identified as a family friend. Glover was pronounced brain dead soon afterwards. He died last week after begin taken off life support.
"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family said in a statement, reports MTV. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."
There is no word if police will press charges against Hubbard.
