Bad news for fans: The singer will not hit the stage this summer, due to vocal hemorrhaging.

“I know this sucks but after many months of recording, I've temporarily damaged my voice," Maxwell says in the statement. "I've had issues before during other tours but was able to power through.”
Fans will likely be very disappointed at this news. The crooner had promised to perform his entire discography in a series of two-night stops in Atlanta, Newark and Los Angeles. Despite the news, he does plan to return to the stage this year.
