Toni Braxton has plans to return to the movie scene with her son.
It's been a number of years since we've seen Toni Braxton on a movie set, but the diva with the famous family is planning to get back into the acting groove for Lifetime.
According to her Twitter account, she and her son, Diezel, are teaming up for a new movie for the women's network. "That's all I can say for now," she followed up. It's unclear what the film will be about, but it will be her first film in six years.
Braxton recently lent her voice to the kids animated film 117th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade. She's also made guest appearances on TV's Kevin Hill and is best known for her role of Juanita Slocumb in Kingdom Come alongside Vivica A. Fox, LL Cool J and Whoopi Goldberg.
In the immediate future, catch Braxton and her sisters for a special summer season of Braxton Family Values this August.
